CASHIER COUNTER

Assist Customer in the sale of bowling games.

Assist Customers in the sale of billiards.

Assist Customers in the need of any bowling accessories.

Accurate count-up of Safe ad Cashier Drawer (please annotate and communicate all shortages).

Be Conscious of Closing time assessment (if not customers withing 30-minutes make proper announcement for closing and the signing on of open bowlers).

Please sign off on Calculator tape of count/all receipts with a tape, initials, pm/am counter, place in appropriate envelope and make drop.

When booking parties please get the following information: obtain party contract from cabinet, utilize party tagging to be filled out and tape on to calendar the day of the event, if so how many bumpers are needed, do you need a table and or if the meeting room is needed (additional cost to utilize room), person booking party, all food is catered by the Restaurant, Inform customer to contact the Chef by providing customer with Chef Phone number.

NO children over 7 Years of Age are allowed on Bumpers (Bumpers are being damaged)

PORTER/JANITORIAL

All garbage cans are to be emptied.
-
Clean Tables, removal of bar glasses returning to bar to be cleaned. Sweep under all tables and place chairs on top of table.

Check Parking Lot for any Paper and cigarettes butts around entryway.
-
Bathroom (Men and Women), Toilet paper when needed, Mop and clean stalls and entire Bathroom, Clean all toilets and urinals (clean underneath urinals and rim of toilets).

Entry/Exit doors to be sweep and mopped, if entry mat is down due to rain please vacuum and store in Ice Room.

Vacuum Carpet each night to be free of any paper etc.

Assure that there are no bowling balls left on lanes.
-
Porter/Janitor (SLOP) room has to be kept Cleaned and orderly and locked after each use.

Respond to the removal of Dead Wood and bowling balls off lanes.
-
Put up bumpers and removing bumpers as needed.
-
Always be available when counter person CALL (be conscious of when you are emptying garbage when there is a full house of bowlers).

Check with counter prior to leaving.

Report any and all malfunctions of equipment in the facility.

The following duties are to be performed THREE Times a WEEK: Mopping of the Floors in the entire facility, Cleaning of all windows and doors in the facility, Dusting of all window ledges, All seating is to be wiped off (chairs at tables seating in bowling area, and seating behind bowling area), The actual garbage cans (have to be hosed down and cleaned out internal and external of the garbage can prior to new bag being placed in can).
HEAD MECHANIC/PIN CHASER MECHANIC

Head Mechanics (HM) is responsible for all repairs needed on bowling lanes/pinsetters (this is like a mechanical workshop)

HM Is the master mind and the core of the bowling business.
-
The Pin-Chaser Mechanics (PCM) acts as an assistance to the HM and should have some ability to assist in the mechanical repair of the pinsetters.

The duties listed below are interchangeable between the HM and the PCM however the PCM has to be able to work independently of the HM.

At any time when the pinsetters are in need of repair and if PCM cannot repair please inform cashier on duty and record this repair on the bulletin board on back board behind the lane & it is requested that you contact the HM when not present (communication is key in this business).

Have the ability to change belts on ball returns and remove ball stuck in ball returns in front of bowl lanes.

Understanding of the bowling alley lingo: raise the rack (180), out of range (raise the rack hold the spare), remove the dead wood from the 7/10 pin side of the gutter, repair/replace the deck light on bowl lane when needed, have a understanding of the # of pins and reset when you have to reset a spare, Ball returns (behind the lanes) are your first responder.

Preventive maintenance list for all lanes is posted behind lanes (nuts and bolts, ball wheels adjustments etc.) Shaker boards adjustment, cleaning of bowling pins.

Have basic understanding of the use of tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammer, etc.

Basic work area has to be kept orderly and cleaned.

No lose clothing is allowed , return all tools when you are finished working on the pinsetters (make sure tools are returned to there proper storage bin so that when it is time to use again, you do not have to look for it – Organization is Key).

Be able to assess lanes and follow the preventive maintenance needs schedule daily.

Have the ability to prepare parts list, parts #’s for ordering of supplies when needed to repair pinsetters.

Twice week cleaning of the gutters

Daily Lane Machine Maintenance: Fill Oil; Lay machine down and install recovery tank, Fill cleaner and check cloth, The Oil machines strips going down lane and oil lane when it is in reverse, When finished, remove recovery tank and empty, Stand machine up and wipe down the bottom of the machine with a dry towel.
